Zantac can be used for treating certain problems that cause one's body to generate an excessive amount of stomach acid (eg, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome). It is also utilized to treat ulcers of the small intestine which may have not taken care of immediately other treatment. It may be used being a short-term substitute for oral ranitidine, in patients who are not able to take medicine by mouth. Zantac is surely an H2-receptor blocker. STORAGE
