INDICATIONS
Tetracycline can be used for treating infections a result of certain bacteria. Tetracycline is often a tetracycline antibiotic. It works by slowing the growth of sensitive bacteria by disturbing the creation of proteins essential for bacteria to develop. Slowing the bacteria's growth allows the body's defense mechanisms to destroy them.
