INDICATIONS
Furosemide can be used for treating fluid build-up and swelling caused by congestive heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease. It is also used in in conjunction with other medicines to deal with fluid build-up inside the lungs. Furosemide is a loop diuretic. Loop diuretics make the kidneys eliminate larger quantities of electrolytes (especially sodium and potassium salts) and water than normal (diuretic effect). Loop diuretics are helpful for treating many conditions in which salt and water retention (eg, edema, swelling) can be a problem.
INSTRUCTIONS
Use Furosemide as directed because of your doctor.

STORAGE
Store Furosemide at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C) in a tightly closed container. Brief periods at temperatures of 59 to 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) are permitted. Store from heat, moisture, and light-weight. Do not store inside the bathroom. Keep Furosemide out of your reach of children and away from pets.
All medicines could cause negative effects, however, many people have no, or minor, unwanted effects.
Check together with your doctor if all of these most typical side effects persist or become bothersome:
Abnormal skin sensations; bladder spasm; blurred vision; constipation; cramping; dizziness; dizziness when rising from a seated or lying position; sense of whirling motion; fever; headache; lightheadedness; mouth and stomach irritation; muscle spasm; nausea; redness; restlessness; ringing inside ears; going to a yellow color; sensitivity to sunlight; vein inflammation.
Seek medical attention straight away if any of these severe unwanted side effects occur:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; lack of breath; tightness inside chest; swelling in the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); confusion; diarrhea; drowsiness; dry mouth; excessive urination; hearing loss; lack of appetite; muscle pain/cramps/weakness; rapid or irregular heartbeat; restlessness; sudden joint; unusual bleeding or bruising; unusual thirst; unusual tiredness or weakness; vomiting; yellowing of the skin or eyes.
