INDICATIONS
Lasix is utilized for treating hypertension or water retention (swelling) connected with congestive heart failure, liver disease, or kidney disease. Lasix can be a loop diuretic. Loop diuretics result in the kidneys eliminate larger quantities of electrolytes (especially sodium and potassium salts) and water than normal (diuretic effect). Loop diuretics are useful for treating many conditions where salt and water retention (eg, edema, swelling) can be a problem.

STORAGE
Store Lasix at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Store from heat and dampness inside a tight, light-resistant container. Exposure to light could potentially cause a little discoloration. Do not take discolored tablets. Do not store within the bathroom. Keep Lasix out from the reach of youngsters and from pets.
