INDICATIONS
Rogaine is employed to help remedy male pattern baldness in patients that are experiencing gradually thinning hair on the top of your head.
Rogaine could also be used for other purposes.
INSTRUCTIONS
Apply the prescribed amount, usually 1 mL, for the affected regions with the scalp. Rogaine is generally applied two times a day, each morning and at night.
Wash your hands after applying Rogaine.
Avoid getting Rogaine in the eyes, nose, or mouth. If this occurs, rinse the area with water.
Do not use Rogaine if the skin in your scalp is damaged, irritated, or sunburned. This may allow more in the medication to be absorbed by your body, which could be dangerous. Do not use a lot more than 2 mL of Rogaine in one day. More medication will not likely increase or hasten hair growth but it could potentially cause dangerous unwanted side effects.
Do not use Rogaine on any kind of your body besides your scalp. Application along with other parts of the body can be dangerous.
It will take 4 months or more before new new hair growth sometimes appears. New hair is generally soft, colorless, and barely visible. With further treatment, the head of hair will become similar in color and thickness to existing hair.
If no growth of hair sometimes appears after 4 months of treatment, discontinuation of Rogaine should be considered.
If treatment solutions are discontinued, new new hair growth will often be shed inside a couple of months.
