INDICATIONS
Kemadrin is employed for treating Parkinson disease. Procyclidine reduces the outcomes of certain chemicals inside you that may become unbalanced as a result of disease (for example Parkinson's disease), drug therapy, or other causes.
INSTRUCTIONS
Take procyclidine exactly as directed because of your doctor.
Take each dose with a full glass of water. Take procyclidine after meals to minimize stomach upset.
Procyclidine is usually taken three to four times every day. Follow your medical professional's instructions.
DOSAGE
Use Kemadrin as directed by your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Kemadrin, go on it immediately. If it is almost time for your upcoming dose, skip the missed dose and get back on your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses simultaneously.
STORAGE
Store Kemadrin at room temperature far from moisture and also heat.
Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON unwanted side effects persist or become bothersome:
Blurred vision; constipation; dilated pupils; dry mouth; giddiness; lightheadedness; loss in appetite; nausea; upset stomach; vomiting.
Seek medical help right away if any of these SEVERE unwanted effects occur:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; breathlessness; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); chest pain; confusion; difficult or painful urination; difficulty swallowing; eye pain; fast or pounding heartbeat; mental or mood changes; uncontrolled movements.
Do NOT use Kemadrin if:
Some medical ailments may interact with Kemadrin. Tell your physician or pharmacist if you have any medical ailments, particularly if any of the following connect with you:
if you happen to be pregnant, planning to conceive, or are breast-feeding
if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
in case you have allergies to medicines, foods, or another substances
in case you have glaucoma, mental or mood disorders, muscle weakness (eg, myasthenia gravis), ulcerative colitis, (eg, an enlarged prostate), or urination problems
for those who have a blockage in the stomach, esophagus, or urinary tract; kidney or liver problems; high blood pressure levels; heart or circulation disease; an irregular heartbeat; or uncontrolled movements in the hands, mouth, or tongue.
Kemadrin could potentially cause lightheadedness or blurred vision. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that might be dangerous unless you discover how you respond to Kemadrin. Using Kemadrin alone, with certain other medicines, or with alcohol may lessen you skill drive an automobile or perform other very dangerous tasks.
Kemadrin might cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting. Alcohol, summer, exercise, and fever can increase these effects. To prevent them, sit up or stand slowly, specially in the morning. Also, sit or lay down in the first symbol of dizziness, lightheadedness, or weakness.
Do not become overheated in warm weather or during exercise and other activities; heatstroke may occur.
Use Kemadrin with warning in CHILDREN. Safety and effectiveness haven't been confirmed.
PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you conceive while taking Kemadrin, discuss along with your doctor the advantages and perils of using Kemadrin during pregnancy. It is unknown if Kemadrin is excreted in breast milk. If you might be or will be breast-feeding while you might be using Kemadrin, check using your doctor or pharmacist to debate the potential for loss for your baby.
