INDICATIONS:
Aldara (imiquimod) is an immune response modifier. Aldara is utilized to deal with actinic keratosis (a disorder caused by burning from the sun exposure) for the face and scalp.
Aldara (to the skin) can also be used to deal with a kind of skin cancer called superficial basal cell carcinoma, when surgery wouldn't be a proper treatment.
Aldara also treats genital warts that appear on the outside with the body, but this drugs are not only a cure for genital warts. Imiquimod may be found in adults and children who're a minimum of 12 years.

INSTRUCTIONS
Use Aldara as directed through your doctor.
STORAGE
Store Aldara at room temperature from moisture and warmth. Do not freeze. Keep each packet unopened until you might be ready to use it.
Get emergency medical help if you have these signs of an allergic response to Aldara: hives; lack of breath; swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. Do NOT use Aldara if you have any of these or any other conditions:
sunburn and other skin problems;
a weak body's defence mechanism or autoimmune disorder;
graft-versus-host disease;
if you have ended up treated for actinic keratosis or genital warts with surgery or another medications; or
in case you have recently received a bone marrow transplant or cord blood transplant.
Avoid getting Aldara in your eyes, mouth, and nose, or on your own lips. Do not place the cream in your rectum, vagina, or urethra. If it does get into some of these areas, rinse with water. Do not use Aldara on sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, irritated, or broken skin.
Avoid using other medications about the areas you treat with Aldara unless your doctor lets you know to.
Avoid experience sunlight or tanning beds. Aldara could make you sunburn quicker. Wear protective clothing and make use of sunscreen (SPF 30 or more) when you might be outdoors.
Avoid having unprotected sex. Imiquimod is not really a cure for genital warts, and will also not force away sexually transmitted diseases for example chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, HIV, syphilis, and trichomoniasis. Talk with your doctor about safe ways to prevent transmission during sex.
